500gmixed minced meat
1large onion

20gdried porcini mushrooms
100gfresh button mushrooms

Instructions
Prepare the potatoes
Peel and boil the potatoes for about 20 minutes until soft. Drain well, mash, and leave to cool.
Prepare the mince
Place the minced meat in a bowl. Peel and finely chop one half of the onion, then add to the mince along with salt, pepper, the egg, and 2 tbsp white wine.
Make the Frikadellen
Add the mashed potatoes to the meat mixture and combine well. Shape into 12 patties. Heat the clarified butter in a pan and fry the Frikadellen for 4–5 minutes on each side until golden. Remove and keep warm.
Prepare the sauce
Soak the dried porcini mushrooms in 125 ml hot water for 10 minutes. Clean and slice the fresh mushrooms. Heat butter in a pan and sauté the remaining chopped onion until soft. Add the mushrooms and thyme, and cook for 5 minutes.
Finish the sauce
Add the soaked porcini mushrooms along with their soaking liquid and stir in the soured cream. Simmer for 5 minutes, season to taste, and pour over the Frikadellen. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
