The technical difference
Technical Setup Behind Your WordPress Website
A business website depends on more than its design. Hosting, DNS, SSL, email delivery, backups, security and updates all affect whether it remains usable and dependable.
Hosting and DNS
Domains, DNS records, hosting accounts and SSL certificates are considered as part of the working website system.
Backups and recovery
Backup availability and restoration options are considered before a problem occurs, rather than after the website has failed.
WordPress Updates and Maintenance
Updates, access, plugins and technical changes are handled with an emphasis on stability and avoiding unnecessary complexity.
Practical technical experience behind the website
OTTA brings hands-on experience in WordPress, hosting, DNS, backups, security and technical troubleshooting. The technical setup is considered alongside the design, so you know who is responsible for keeping the website running after launch.

How it works
Your Website Design Project: From Enquiry to Launch
Explain what the business needs
Tell OTTA about your services, customers, existing website, available content and the practical result you need.
Receive a written proposal
The proposal defines the pages, functionality, responsibilities, project price, payment schedule and any agreed hosting option.
Build, review and launch
The agreed website is created, reviewed with you and prepared for launch, hosting and structured handover.
A controlled project
Website Project Scope and Pricing
Scope changes do not quietly become surprise costs. The written proposal provides a shared reference for what is included. Work outside the agreed project or hosting plan is discussed and priced separately before it begins.
Covered by the proposal
- Agreed pages and functionality
- Content and image responsibilities
- Project price and payment schedule
- Review, launch and handover process
- Selected hosting plan where applicable
Discussed separately when needed
- Additional pages or functionality
- Ongoing content and design changes
- Advanced online shop requirements
- Custom systems and integrations
- Work outside the selected hosting plan
Independent technical reviews
Written Technical Setup Reviews
OTTA also provides written reviews for Home Assistant, home servers, Docker environments, backups and self-hosted systems. These services draw on the same practical technical experience behind the website and hosting work.
The checks are designed for people who want a structured second opinion without handing over passwords or remote access.
